James A. Palmer was the great grandfather of Frances Helen Holloway
Taylor Dyer. He was born 27 Oct. 1837 and died 28 June, 1881. He married Mary
Helen Bailey the daughter of James Liley Bailey and Ann Elizabeth Cook.
The marriage date was 24 Feb. 1863. Frances Helen Holloway Taylor Dyer was named after his wife Mary Helen.
We are not now sure of the place of death of James Palmer or where he is buried.
